Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) policy and promotion of "Green" renovation products

In cooperation with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and UzMRC a seminar-training was organized for the responsible managers and employees of commercial banks as a promotion of ESG policy and "Green" renovation products.The event was opened by ADB Regional Director Enrico Pinali and the UzMRC's CEO Murodjon Farmanov.

The seminar-training was intensively conducted by the responsible experts of ADB on following areas:

• Introduction of ESG policy in banks and its possibilities
• "Green" buildings and their financing opportunities in Uzbekistan, Government procedures in this regard
• "Green" renovation mortgages and their eligibility requirements and target customer base

Explanations were given in the form of a presentation on issues such as the order of the online platform and the intended purpose of the project.

Certificates were awarded to participants at the end of the event.
