Green Housing Finance Conference in Tokyo, Japan

Cagamas Berhad, represented by its Chairman, Dato’ Bakarudin Ishak, and its President/Chief Executive Officer, Kameel Abdul Halim, attended the Green Housing Finance Conference organised by the Japan Housing Finance Agency in conjunction with the ASMMA 2023 Meeting held in Tokyo, Japan. As a panellist in the panel discussion “How to Expand Green Mortgages and Green Bonds: Uprising and Challenges," Kameel shared his views on the challenges faced by Malaysia’s industry players in the green bonds and green mortgage spaces and the opportunities to tap in the future.
